So to provide a bit of entertainment, and since I stumbled across an archive of super old blog posts from myspace, I thought I would share a series of them with you here on the modern web site.

In it’s unedited glory, I present to you Evil Blog 1 from March 21st, 2006:

Disclaimer: The following series of blogs is meant to be represented as evil. However, this does not mean in any way that I myself am evil. Exclusively anyway. All evilness is for entertainment purposes, but that’s not to say that the original evil deeds that are referred to were originally done for entertainment, but rather, the storytelling of these deeds is. Either way, enjoy.

I arrived at the BART area of SFO right in time. The train was resting on its tracks, doors open, beckoning passengers in. I knew not how long this comforting state of my transportation would remain in my favor, so I decided to run down the escalator, just in case the tables turned.

I knew there was some sort of man behind me. Fit? Young? Old? Big? Small? Peripheral vision of only a quick second is not enough to tell such things. I would soon find out the statistics of this man, however.

It would turn out it was an old man, relatively frail, and somewhat befuddled and injured. At least that’s how he appeared when I finally got a good look.

As I took my seat on the BART train, a portly gentleman on my right looked out the window, and gasped. “That’s not good!” he shouted. I looked where he was looking, to see the old man on his belly, coming slowly down the escalator. He looked sadly in our direction, and reached out his hand. He may have possibly said “Help me” or something like that, but I can’t say for sure.

The portly gentleman rushed out to help this old man. I sat there, somewhat shocked by the situation. I couldn’t find it in me to react, respond or to help… I couldn’t come to terms that I quite possibly may have caused this man’s misfortune, and what that could entail if my further interaction took place. The train doors closed. The portly man’s wife shouted, “NO!” as he and the old man were still on the platform. Again, I couldn’t find it in me to stop the doors from closing, being the closest to the door. The wife pounded on the doors… possibly fearing that she would never see her husband again if the train happened to pull away. Perhaps she was really just concerned because her husband had an exorbidant amount of luggage, which would be entirely unmanageable in  situation in which she would have to tend to it.

The doors finally opened up however, and the two men were able to board the train. Blood dribbled down the old mans face, originating from his temple or surrounding area. The woman to my left jumped into action, searching in her purse for her travel Kleenex. She took out a couple sheets (or maybe just one, it’s really just speculation) and rushed over to where the old man sat, proceeding to wipe the blood from his face. I sat, motionless yet observant. Should I do something? Would anything I did really help anyone? Probably not, so I took my mind off the whole situation by taking a refreshing BART nap.

Well, the front cover anyway. I’m nowhere finished writing the book but I like to jump around on getting different aspects done  throughout the process.

You’ll just have to wait and see what makes the dark areas special. I also haven’t decided on this version or inverting the black and white. I think the white pops more though.
